Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Assembly Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Cooking spray or a drizzle of oil for crisping

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  • Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about one tablespoon of the crab filling in the center of each wrapper. Moisten the edges with water, then fold the wrapper in half to create a triangle. Press the edges to seal, ensuring no filling escapes.
  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes while you finish preparing the rangoons.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the assembled rangoons with cooking spray. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Cook for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once cooked, remove them carefully and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce, like sweet and sour sauce or a soy-based dip.

Notes

Ensure the rangoons are sealed tightly to prevent filling from leaking. You can experiment with the cheese used for added flavor. Consider adding spices for a kick.
