Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Cod fillets Around 6 ounces each
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Panko for extra crunch
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten
  • ½ cup Flour For dredging
  • to taste Spices: garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil Optional for drizzling

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels to ensure they are free of excess moisture.
  • In a shallow dish, mix the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Coat each cod fillet in the seasoned flour, shaking off any excess.
  • Dip the floured fillet into the beaten eggs, ensuring all sides are coated.
  • Press the cod into the breadcrumbs until evenly covered.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the battered cod fillets in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • If desired, drizzle with olive oil. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Check that the internal temperature has reached 145°F (63°C) for safe consumption.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-bread the fillets. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer for maximum crispiness. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
