Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 8 oz mushrooms Cleaned and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder For flavor
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For flavor
  • to taste Salt For seasoning
  • to taste Pepper For seasoning
  • as needed Fresh parsley For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cleaning the mushrooms. Use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe away any dirt. Avoid rinsing them under water as mushrooms tend to absorb moisture, which can lead to sogginess.
  • Slice the mushrooms evenly for a consistent cook. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced mushrooms with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss until they are well coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). This ensures a crisp finish and optimal cooking time.

Cooking

  • Place the mushrooms in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Avoid overcrowding, as this can hinder the cooking process.
  • Air fry the mushrooms for about 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking for even crispiness. Cook until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  • Once done, remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh parsley for an aesthetic touch and added flavor.

Notes

Choose baby bellas or cremini mushrooms for best texture. Monitor cooking time as it may vary based on air fryer model. Avoid overcrowding the basket for optimal crispiness.
