Ingredients

For the Pudding

  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Use ripe bananas for the best flavor.
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 package (10 oz) mini vanilla wafers
  • To taste chocolate or caramel drizzle for topping Optional topping for added flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and milk until the mixture is smooth. Set it aside to thicken for about 5 minutes.

  • Gently fold the whipped topping into the prepared pudding until just combined.

Assembly

  • Start with a layer of mini vanilla wafers at the bottom of each cup.
  • Add a layer of the pudding mixture, followed by a layer of sliced bananas.
  • Continue layering until you fill the cups, finishing with a layer of whipped topping.

Chill

  • Cover the cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve

  • Just before serving, add a sprinkle of crushed vanilla wafers and a drizzle of chocolate or caramel if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, use ripe bananas and chill the cups for at least 2 hours before serving. Experiment with flavors by adding almond extract or cinnamon.
