These Best Nutella Pastry Twists are flaky, golden, and filled with rich chocolate-hazelnut spread. Made with store-bought puff pastry, they come together quickly and look bakery-worthy—perfect for brunch, parties, or an easy dessert.

- 2 sheets puff pastry thawed but still cold
- ½ –¾ cup Nutella softened for easy spreading
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tbsp water (egg wash)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract optional
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Preheat oven: Preheat to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prep pastry: On a lightly floured surface, unfold one puff pastry sheet and gently smooth seams.
Spread filling: Spread an even layer of Nutella over the pastry, leaving a small border. (Mix vanilla into Nutella if using.)
Layer: Place the second puff pastry sheet on top and press lightly to seal.
Cut & twist: Cut into 1-inch-wide strips. Twist each strip several times and place on the baking sheet with space between.
Egg wash: Brush lightly with egg wash.
Bake: Bake 15–18 minutes until puffed and deep golden brown.
Finish: Cool 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar if desired.
