Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter melted
  • cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs room temperature
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Optional Orange Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 –3 tablespoons fresh orange juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper. Lightly grease the parchment.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth and glossy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in orange juice, orange zest, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean.
  • Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing.
  • Optional Glaze
  • In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth.
  • Drizzle the glaze over the cooled brownies and allow it to set for about 10 minutes before cutting into squares.

  • Avoid overbaking to keep the brownies soft and chewy.
