- 4 medium apples Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of nutmeg optional
- Optional: honey or maple syrup
Wash and dry apples, then cut them in half and remove cores.
Place apple halves cut-side down and slice thinly without cutting all the way through.
Preheat grill to medium heat.
Place apples on foil or a grill-safe pan.
