  • Slice the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop the flesh into your blender.
  • Toss in the blueberries and plain yogurt. If using frozen blueberries, this will make your smoothie extra frosty!
  • Pour in your choice of water or almond milk. Adjust the quantity based on how thick you like your smoothie.
  • Squeeze the lemon juice over the mixture for that refreshing tang.
  • If you're in the mood for something sweeter, add honey or agave syrup.
  • Blend everything until silky and smooth. Scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary to ensure everything is mixed well.
  • Taste your smoothie. You can add more sweetener or a splash more lemon if you like.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

Using frozen blueberries can create a thicker, icier texture. Feel free to add greens like spinach or kale without compromising taste. You can also add protein powder for additional protein, or experiment with variations such as banana or cocoa powder.
