Ingredients
  

  • Burger Patties
  • 1 pound ground chicken not extra-lean preferred
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce plus extra for brushing
  • ¼ cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • For Serving
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • Red onion
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • Sliced avocado optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Mixture
  • In a large bowl, gently combine ground chicken, buffalo sauce, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Mix until just combined — do not overmix.
  • Shape Patties
  • Divide mixture into 4 equal portions.
  • Shape into patties about ¾-inch thick.
  • Press a small indent into the center of each patty to prevent puffing.
  • Cook (Stovetop Method)
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  • Grill Method:
  • Preheat grill to medium.
  • Oil grates lightly.
  • Grill patties 5–6 minutes per side until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  • Finish
  • Brush patties with extra buffalo sauce during the final minute of cooking for added flavor.
  • Rest & Assemble
  • Let burgers rest 3–5 minutes.
  • Toast buns lightly.
  • Add lettuce, tomato, and dressing.
  • Place patty on bun and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Do not overmix to prevent tough patties.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure safe internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Avoid pressing down on burgers while cooking to keep them juicy.
  • Add 1 tablespoon olive oil to mixture if using very lean ground chicken.
