- 1 pizza dough store-bought or homemade
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded or fresh
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lemon zest and juice
- 1 –2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional toppings:
- Fresh basil or arugula
- Red pepper flakes
- Garlic minced
- Thinly sliced zucchini
Preheat oven:
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). If using a pizza stone, preheat it as well.
Prepare dough:
Roll out pizza dough on a baking sheet or pizza peel. Drizzle olive oil over the surface.
Add base layer:
