  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced Use grilled or boiled chicken.
  • 4 large tortillas (whole wheat or regular)
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade) Generous amounts can enhance flavors.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional add-ins: croutons or fresh herbs (e.g. basil) For added flavor and crunch.

Preparation

  • If you don’t have cooked chicken, season and grill or boil your chicken breasts. Once cooked, let them cool, then shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste, and adjust the mixture according to your palate.

Assembly

  • Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon a generous amount of the chicken and lettuce mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
  • Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it from the bottom up, keeping it snug but not too tight.
  • Cut the wraps in half diagonally for an appealing presentation or enjoy them whole. Sprinkle croutons on top just before serving for extra crunch.

Notes

Chill wraps for 30 minutes before serving to enhance flavors. Customize your wrap with roasted red peppers, avocado, or almonds. For a lighter option, use yogurt-based Caesar dressing.
