  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • to taste Salt Use according to preference.

  • optional Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Trim the ends of your corn ears to create a flat surface for stability.
  • Stand each ear of corn upright on a cutting board and slice vertically down the sides to create rib-like sections, aiming for about 1-inch thick pieces.

Seasoning

  • Mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  • Toss the corn ribs in the mixture until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • For grilling, preheat your grill and cook the corn ribs for around 10 minutes, turning frequently until slightly charred and tender.
  • For roasting, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and cook for about 20-25 minutes.

Serving

  • Once cooked, remove the corn ribs from heat and sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

Choose fresh corn for the best flavor. Experiment with different seasonings and set up a toppings station for your guests.
