Ingredients
  

For the Corn Ribs

  • 4 cobs Fresh corn cobs Choose fresh and firm corn cobs.
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil For seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika For smoky flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder For added flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning For spice.
  • 1/2 cup Cheese Optional for topping.

For the Dipping Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Sour cream or yogurt For dipping.
  • to taste Hot sauce Optional.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Remove the husks and silks from the corn cobs, then rinse them under cold water.
  • Place the corn cob upright on a cutting board and cut it into quarters from top to bottom.

Seasoning

  • In a bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and Creole seasoning.
  • Brush the mixture generously over the corn rib pieces.

Cooking

  • Preheat your grill or oven.
  • If grilling, cook the corn ribs for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until they are charred and tender.
  • If using an oven, roast them at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • Once cooked, sprinkle your favorite cheese over the hot corn ribs and serve with a side of sour cream or yogurt and hot sauce for dipping.

Notes

Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like chili powder or lime juice for added flavor. Corn ribs can also be air-fried or baked for alternative cooking methods.
