- 4 salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: grated parmesan
- Lemon slices for serving
Pat salmon dry and season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Place salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes until crispy.
Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until just cooked through.
Remove salmon from skillet and set aside.
In the same pan, melt butter and add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
Pour in heavy cream and stir.
Add dill, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Simmer for 3–5 minutes until sauce thickens.
Return salmon to the pan and spoon sauce over the top.
Let rest for a couple of minutes.
Garnish with extra dill and lemon slices before serving.
