Preparation

  • Wash and dry the cucumbers. If you prefer a softer texture, peel some or all of the skins.
  • Slice the cucumbers thinly, into rounds or half-moons.
  • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt or sour cream with apple cider vinegar or lemon juice. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, mixing well until the dressing is smooth.
  • Toss the sliced cucumbers, chopped dill, and red onions into the bowl with the dressing, ensuring everything is well coated.
  • Cover the salad and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Choose fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust tanginess and creaminess based on preference. Consider adding cherry tomatoes or radishes for added texture.
