  • 4 pieces salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or line it with parchment paper for easier cleanup.
  • In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended.
  • Place the salmon fillets in the center of your baking dish. Spread the Dijon mixture evenly on top of each fillet.

Cooking

  • Transfer the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for about 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Once done, remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes

Don't overcook the salmon. Aim for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for best results. You can also experiment with spices like thyme or dill for added flavor.
