Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 1 pound Chicken Breast, sliced thinly Lean protein source
  • 2 cups Broccoli Florets, fresh or frozen Packed with vitamins and antioxidants
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced Shiittake or button mushrooms work well
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce Add sparingly to avoid sogginess
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced Adds depth of flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger, minced Optional but recommended
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil For frying; you can use any preferred cooking oil
  • to taste Salt and Pepper Adjust according to personal preference
  • Green Onions, for garnish Adds freshness when serving

Preparation

  • Prepare all ingredients: slice the chicken, chop the broccoli, and slice the mushrooms.

Cooking

  • Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced chicken to the pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Stir fry for about 5–7 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, add more oil if needed, then add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 30 seconds.
  • Add broccoli and mushrooms, and stir fry for 3–5 minutes until tender but bright green.
  • Return the chicken to the pan, pour soy sauce over the mixture, and stir well. Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or on its own.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the pan while cooking to ensure an even stir fry. You can add sesame seeds or chili flakes for extra flavor.
