- ¾ cup unsalted butter softened
- 1½ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs room temperature

- ¼ teaspoon almond extract optional

- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1½ –2 tablespoons milk or cream

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
