- For the salmon:
- 4 salmon fillets skin-on preferred
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and black pepper
- For the glaze:
- 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Optional additions:
- Fresh ginger
- Chili flakes
- Fresh herbs parsley or dill
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates.
Pat the salmon dry, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and lemon juice to make the glaze.
Place salmon on the grill skin-side down and cook for 4–5 minutes.
Brush the glaze over the salmon, then carefully flip.
Cook for another 2–4 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
Remove from the grill and garnish with herbs if desired before serving.
