Ingredients
  

Coffee Base

  • 1 cup Freshly brewed coffee Strong and preferably brewed the night before
  • 2-3 tablespoons Caramel sauce Plus extra for drizzling

Creaminess

  • ¼ to ½ cup Milk or milk alternative Adjust based on creaminess preference

Garnish

  • 1 handful Ice cubes A generous handful
  • 1 serving Whipped cream Optional, for a decadent finish
  • 1 pinch Salt Optional, to enhance caramel flavor

Preparation

  • Brew a strong cup of coffee. A dark roast works best, and brew it in advance to chill.
  • If using homemade caramel, melt sugar on medium heat in a saucepan until golden brown, then slowly add heavy cream and a pinch of salt.

Mixing

  • In a glass, combine the cooled coffee with 2-3 tablespoons of caramel sauce and stir well.
  • Pour in the milk or milk alternative and mix until creamy.

Serving

  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Top with whipped cream and drizzle additional caramel sauce.
