  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup hot cocoa prepared
  • Optional toppings:
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chocolate ganache
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a cake pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Add eggs, milk, oil, vanilla extract, and prepared hot cocoa. Mix until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool completely before adding toppings.
  • Top with marshmallows, ganache, or whipped cream as desired.
