  • 1/2 cup Sugar Adjust sweetness to taste.

  • 1/4 cup Mint leaves For a refreshing herbal note.
  • 1/4 cup Coconut milk For a creamier texture.

Preparation

  • Peel and chop the mangoes into chunks.
  • Place the mango chunks in a blender with sugar and lime juice.
  • Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  • Add a pinch of salt and blend again.

Freezing

  • Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Freeze for at least 4-6 hours until fully frozen.
  • Before serving, use a fork to scrape the surface for a fluffy texture.

Notes

Use perfectly ripe mangoes for optimal sweetness. Freeze in a shallow dish for even freezing and ease of scooping. If too hard, let sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
