Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (any flavor)
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional) You can use any type of nuts.

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut/seed butter of choice) If thick, warm slightly for easier mixing.
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Add-Ins

  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup M&M's (or similar candies)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, protein powder, and chopped nuts (if using).
  • In another bowl, mix the peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir well until everything is evenly coated. Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and M&M's.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press it down evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Once cooled, lift the bark out using the parchment paper and cut it into squares or bars.

Notes

Store properly in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks. Customize flavors by adding dried fruits or sea salt for a gourmet touch.
