- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- ¾ cup parmesan cheese freshly grated
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place bread cubes in a large bowl.
Drizzle with olive oil and melted butter. Toss until evenly coated.
Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the bread. Toss again.
Add grated parmesan and gently toss to coat.
Spread bread cubes in a single layer on the baking sheet.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until golden and crisp.
Cool 2–3 minutes, then serve warm.
-
Slightly stale bread crisps best.
-
Avoid overcrowding the pan so the bread browns evenly.
-
For extra flavor, sprinkle additional parmesan or fresh parsley after baking.
