  • 1 package breadstick dough Store-bought or homemade
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese Shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni Sliced
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce For filling and serving
  • 2 tablespoons butter Melted, for brushing
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Unfold and roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Spread mozzarella cheese along the center of the dough and place pepperoni slices on top.
  • Spoon pizza sauce over the cheese and pepperoni.
  • Carefully roll the dough tightly, encapsulating the filling.
  • Cut rolled dough into sections about 1 to 2 inches wide and place cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Brush melted butter over the tops and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  • Let the breadsticks cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm with additional pizza sauce on the side.

Notes

Experiment with different cheeses and spices. Avoid overstuffing and ensure a tight seal when rolling.
