Ingredients

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas Choose based on preference.

Lime Crema Slaw Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage For the slaw.
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise For the crema.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream For added creaminess.
  • Juice from 1 lime lime juice For zesty flavor.
  • 1 tsp chili powder To spice things up.
  • To taste salt and pepper For seasoning.

Instructions
 

Prepare the Lime Crema Slaw

  • In a bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until everything is well incorporated and creamy. Set it aside to allow the flavors to meld.

Cook the Shrimp

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are opaque. Don't overcook them!

Warm the Tortillas

  • While the shrimp cooks, warm your tortillas on another skillet or directly over the flame for just a few seconds on each side, until they’re soft and pliable.

Assemble Your Tacos

  • Place a generous scoop of shrimp on each tortilla, followed by a hearty dollop of lime crema slaw. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice for that extra zing.

  • Serve your tacos immediately while they’re warm, maybe with a side of your favorite dipping sauce or more lime wedges.

Notes
