Ingredients
  

For the filling

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked sausage, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your preference)
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) can be omitted
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional) can be omitted
  • to taste salt and pepper

For the dough

  • 1 can crescent roll dough

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled sausage, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.

Assembly

  • Take a spoonful of your sausage and cream cheese mixture and place it at the wider end of each triangle.
  • Roll the dough towards the point to enclose the filling fully.
  • Arrange your filled crescent rolls on an ungreased baking sheet, making sure they don’t touch.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  • Once baked, allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with dipping sauces like spicy mustard, ranch dressing, or hot sauce for extra flavor. You can also customize the filling by adding different types of cheese or veggies.
