Ingredients
  

Main ingredients

  • 9-12 pieces Lasagna noodles depending on the size of your baking dish
  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces Crab meat, lump preferred
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce store-bought or homemade
  • 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Boil the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay them flat on a clean kitchen towel to cool.

Sautéing

  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Toss in shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and gently fold in the crab meat.

Mixing Filling

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Assembly

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • On each lasagna noodle, spread a generous spoonful of the cheesy mixture followed by the sautéed seafood.
  • Roll the noodle tightly and place it seam-side down in the baking dish. Repeat until all noodles are filled.

Topping

  • Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the assembled roll-ups. Sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese on top.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnishing

  • Once baked, let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color.

Notes

You can prep the roll-ups a day ahead. Feel free to experiment with your favorite seafood or alternative sauces for different flavor profiles.
