  • 12 oz Lasagna noodles Standard or no-boil.
  • 1 lb Shrimp Fresh, peeled, and deveined.
  • 8 oz Crab meat Lump crab meat for best texture and flavor.
  • 15 oz Ricotta cheese Provides creaminess.
  • 1.5 cups Mozzarella cheese For melty goodness.
  • 0.5 cups Parmesan cheese Enhances flavor profile.
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 2 cloves Garlic For seasoning.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Pepper To taste.
  • 2 tbsp Parsley Chopped for freshness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, crab meat, shrimp, garlic, salt, pepper, and parsley until well mixed.

Assembling the Roll-Ups

  • Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  • Lay out a lasagna noodle and spoon some of the seafood filling across the noodle's width.
  • Roll the noodle up tightly and place seam-side down in the baking dish. Repeat with remaining noodles and filling.

Baking the Roll-Ups

  • Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce over the assembled roll-ups. Top with the remaining mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Serving

  • Allow the dish to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Using fresh seafood is crucial. You can prepare the roll-ups a day in advance and refrigerate them. Just add extra baking time if starting from cold.
