Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour heat-treated
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • For coating:
  • 2 cups white or milk chocolate melted
  • Food coloring optional
  • Sprinkles

Instructions
 

  • Heat-treat flour by microwaving for about 1 minute or baking at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes. Let cool.
  • In a bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  • Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  • Gradually add heat-treated flour until a soft dough forms.
  • Fold in mini chocolate chips.
  • Shape dough into small egg-like ovals.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
  • Melt chocolate in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate and coat evenly.
  • Decorate with sprinkles or colored chocolate.
  • Let set at room temperature or refrigerate until firm.
