Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries sliced
  • 3 –4 oranges peeled and segmented
  • Citrus Syrup:
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 –3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Wash and slice strawberries; peel and segment oranges.
  • In a saucepan, combine orange juice, lemon juice, and honey.
  • Heat over medium-low for 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  • Stir in orange zest and let syrup cool completely.
  • In a bowl, combine strawberries and oranges.
  • Pour cooled syrup over fruit.
  • Gently toss to coat evenly.
  • Chill for 15–30 minutes before serving.
  • Garnish with mint if desired and serve cold.
