Ingredients

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries Use ripe, fresh strawberries for best flavor.

Cookie Dough

  • 1 batch sugar cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • If using store-bought sugar cookie dough, allow it to soften for a few minutes. If making homemade, prepare it until smooth.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  • Gently fold in the chopped strawberries into the cream cheese mixture.
  • Take a scoop of sugar cookie dough and flatten it in your palm. Add a spoonful of the cream cheese and strawberry mixture in the center, and pinch the dough around the filling to enclose it.

Baking

  • Place the filled cookies on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges turn golden.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For added flavor, consider drizzling melted white chocolate on top or sprinkling powdered sugar before serving. Store cookies in an airtight container.
