Dressing

Preparation

  • Start by washing all your vegetables. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and dice the cucumber. Thinly slice the red onion, and chop the fresh basil.

Mixing

  • In a large bowl, combine the halved tomatoes, diced cucumbers, sliced red onion, and chopped basil.

Dressing

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper. Drizzle this mixture over the salad and toss gently to coat everything evenly.

Serving

  • Taste your salad and adjust seasoning as needed. Your salad is now ready to serve! It can be enjoyed immediately or left to sit for about 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
