Cuisine American
- 6 large marshmallows
- 6 caramel candies or about ½ cup melted caramel
- 6 wooden skewers or popsicle sticks
- 1 cup orange candy melts
- ¼ cup dark or milk chocolate chips
Insert a wooden skewer or popsicle stick into the center of each marshmallow.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marshmallow skewers on the tray.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the caramel candies in 20-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each marshmallow into the melted caramel or spoon caramel over it, coating evenly.
Place the caramel-coated marshmallows back onto the parchment paper and allow them to set for about 5 minutes.
Melt the orange candy melts in the microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each caramel-covered marshmallow into the melted orange candy coating until fully covered.
Place the coated marshmallows back on the parchment-lined tray.
Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave until smooth.
Using a spoon or piping bag, drizzle thin chocolate stripes across the orange coating to resemble Tigger’s stripes.
Allow the treats to set for 10–15 minutes until the coating is firm.
-
Melt candy coating in short intervals to avoid burning.
-
Add the chocolate stripes while the orange coating is slightly soft so they stick better.
-
If the candy melts are too thick, add a small amount of coconut oil or shortening to thin them.
-
For easier cleanup, always work on parchment paper.
