Preparation

  • Gather and slice your bread and cheese, and set your pepperoni slices aside.

Cooking

  • Place a skillet on medium heat and add a small amount of butter or olive oil.
  • On one slice of bread, layer your cheese, then the pepperoni, followed by another slice of cheese on top. Finish it off with the second slice of bread.
  • Place your assembled sandwich in the skillet. Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then carefully flip it over using a spatula.
  • Toast the other side until it’s golden brown and the cheese is perfectly melted, another 3-4 minutes.
  • Once done, remove from the heat and let it sit for a minute before cutting—this helps prevent the cheese from spilling out.
